The Smallest Outlaw (Masterpost)

Since I’m chronically a disorganised mess, I’m making a Masterpost of my attempts at writing. Long explanation shortened - saw someone’s fan fiction. Liked it. Started writing my own. This is it. Mostly derping around…as you can tell with the snow puns in the titles.

Ideas are welcome

Chapter 1 - That’s Snow Way to Go

Chapter 2 - Hurt Snow Good

Chapter 3 - No Business Like Snow Business

Chapter 4 - Snow Idea What I’m Doing

Chapter 5 - Snow Worries

Chapter 6 - Time Waits For Snow Man

Chapter 7 - Snow More Mountains

Bonus 1 - Tiny Arthur

Bonus 2 - Button

Bonus 3 - Hasi

You know what I love? When characters are almost unconscious, but not quite.

Slumped over, a complete ragdoll in the others’ hands, but alert enough to groan softly at different sensations, eyes hooded and glazed, just wide enough to gather a blurry image of their surroundings. Though they’re dizzy and their limbs feel like lead, they gain comfort in the others’ touch, unconsciously leaning into them, eyelids fluttering in hazy relief at the soothing, concerned gestures.

Getting inspired to write is actually really easy! All you need to do is be the busiest you’ve ever been in your entire life and as far away from a computer as humanly possible. Hope this helps 🥰

white people please just purchase native artwork and jewelry from native people i keep seeing idiot white people be like “waaah i wish i could support native creators but its cultural appropriation” girl why would beaders sell you their earrings then. just dont get a medicine wheel or a thunderbird then like damn it is that easy

If Native folks are making it to sell to white people with the approval of their tribe, it’s not “appropriation”–its support and appreciation! So yes, buy that native-made dream catcher, but not the mass produced fakes made by white people. Like, you can go to a pow wow and buy native crafts there, too.

WAIT A SEC. I want to cut some credit to player drunkenness in rdr2 and how it works as a vehicle to reveal something about the main character of this story.

Usually drunkenness in games is played off for cheap laughs, and there are plenty of slapsticky drunken antics in rdr2 (LENNAY). But happy-drunk Arthur gives SO MUCH INSIGHT into his real personality, too – even when he’s being a giggling, property-damaging, cancan-dancing terror. When he’s drunk, he forgets a little of his mean bastard enforcer mask, the primary role he must play in the gang, and his loving nature becomes laughably obvious.
